Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 6, 2026

The short version: Resilience Ready does not collect your personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts, and no servers storing your information. Everything you enter into the app stays on your device.

Introduction

Resilience Ready is built by The Safety Nest. We created this app to help families prepare for emergencies — and we believe that kind of personal planning deserves complete privacy. This policy explains what we do (and don't) do with information related to your use of the app.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at hello.thesafetynest@gmail.com.

What We Collect

Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal information you enter into Resilience Ready. This includes:

All of this information lives exclusively on your device. We have no way to see it, access it, or recover it if it's lost.

Local Storage

The app uses your device's local storage (browser localStorage on web, or the equivalent on iOS/Android) to save your data between sessions. This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any cloud service operated by us, and it is not synced across devices.

If you uninstall the app or clear your browser data, your saved information will be permanently deleted. We recommend exporting or printing your plan periodically as a backup.

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services for specific optional features. Each is limited in scope:

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or crash reporting tools that collect personal data.

Children's Privacy

Resilience Ready is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is intended for use by adults planning for their households.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since we don't have your email address (unless you subscribed to the newsletter), we can't notify you directly — so we encourage you to check back occasionally if this matters to you.

We don't anticipate significant changes, because our approach to privacy is simple: we don't collect what we don't need.
